The FT Synthetics Hydra Breathable Synthetic Underlayment is designed to provide an extra layer of protection against water while allowing trapped moisture from poor attic ventilation to escape.

Hydra features an internal monolithic membrane that utilises advanced chemical transfer technology to move water vapour, functioning as a liquid water barrier while offering exceptional vapour permeability in all weather conditions.

Additionally, Hydra incorporates the new HYDRY technology, developed to address water accumulation on the roof deck during installation.

HYDRY rapidly absorbs moisture from the roof deck and transfers it away.

This technology transfers water at a rate 15 times faster than the leading breathable synthetic underlayment and 10 times faster than traditional #30 felt. As a result, HYDRY technology delivers rapid roof deck drying, helps reduce mold growth, and prevents roof deck rot.
